MELANOTAN 2 INSTRUCTIONS

Our Melanotan 2 vials come as a Lyophilized freeze dried powder as this is the tanning peptides most stable and durable form. Studies have shown that in this state the peptide can withstand temperatures of up to 37degrees for a month at a time without losing any potency or effectiveness. We do however recommend you refrigerate your vials upon receiving them to ensure longevity.

Once you have reconstituted your vial (turned back into liquid form using antibacterial injection water) its shelf life unrefrigerated is no more than 48 hours. After 48 hours the potency will begin to deteriorate.

Once reconstituted vials have an optimum shelf like of approximately 10 weeks where they are at full potency. Potency will slowly begin to drop off after this, so we recommend that you don't reconstitute your vials until you are ready to use them.

As vials arrive as a freeze dried powder they must be reconstituted (turned back into liquid form) before they can be used. This is easily and safely achieved with the use of antibacterial injection water. 

To reconstitute the vial you will need to remove the hard plastic safety cap from the top to reveal a grey rubber seal. Wipe the seal with an alcohol swab and remove a sterile syringe from its packet.

Use the sterile syringe to draw up antibacterial water (how much water you reconstitute your vial with is up to you - please see dosage guide page for more information).

Once you have drawn your desired amount of water insert the syringe into the centre of the rubber seal on vial, using the raised circle as a guide. If you feel resistance reinsert at a slightly different angle.

Carefully expell liquid into the vial by aiming at the side wall. Try not to directly expell onto peptide. Gently roll the vial between your fingers until all the powder has dissolved. Never shake vials as this can cause damage to the peptide!

Administering Melanotan is a very easy and painless operation. It is best performed just before you go to bed to minimise any 

side effects that may occur (tiredness & nausea).

All our injectable kits include very small very fine 29 gauge insulin syringes, unlike other retailers who only supply larger 27 gauge needles which are arger and cause unnecessary discomfort.

Open a new syringe and draw up the desired amount of melanotan 2 solution. Generally speaking this will be 0.1mL. Note that the amount of MG contained in 0.1mL will vary depending on how much injection water you added to your vial (please see dosage guide page for further information).

To draw solution into the syringe, push the syringe into the rubber top of the vial, again using the raised circle as a guide. Push the plunger to empty any air. Repeat this two or three times as it will make drawing up the solution much easier.

Next, turn the vial upside down and pull the plunger until the solution reads at your specified dosage amount, ensuring the tip of the needle stays in the solution. Then flick the syringe to remove any air that may be in the syringe.

Once your syringe is filled with your desired dose its time to administer the peptide. The peptide is administered as a subcutaneous lipid injection in the fatty depsits just below the epidermus. Suitable injection sites include the buttocks, thighs or stomach, with most people opting for stomach. Find the fleshiest area of your stomach and then clean with an alcohol wipe. Now place the index finger and thumb about 2 inches apart on the cleaned area of skin and simply pinch. Take the syringe in your other hand, holding it like a pen 90 degrees to 

your skin, needle side down. Melanotan is injected into the subcutaneous fat which is the layer between the skin and muscle 

If you do not have enough fat and can only grab 1 inch of skin do your injection at a 45 degree angle to ensure you do not inject 

into the muscle.

Now insert the needle with a swift motion until it is fully under the skin. Gently depress the plunger until all the solution has gone from the syringe and carefully remove it from your skin. 

Next gently hold the alcohol wipe on the injected area for 1 minute. You may feel a stinging sensation when injecting the 

solution this will subside quickly.

Try to use a different spot each time you do an injection to prevent any scars or skin changes and to try to make each spot at 

least 1 inch away from each other.

The melanotan 2 vials that come in the nasal kit are exactly the same as the ones that come in the injection kits and are reconstituted the exact same way. The only difference is that we suggest you reconstitute each vial with 2mL of antibacterial water. 

Furthermore instead of recieved a needle with your nasal kit you will have recieved a plunger and needle topper. The barrel of the plunger has a larger capacity and the needle top which you place onto the plunger has a wider gauge in order to make things easier for you.

Once you have reconstituted your vials insert the plunger with the needle top attachment clipped in on the end, back into the vial and draw up the entire solution, then empty it into the nasal spray administration bottle found in your kit.

Repeat again with the second vial. Your nasal spray bottle should now contain 4mL of melanotan 2 solution and will dispense 40 sprays. Every 2 sprays administers 1MG of melanotan 2 peptide.
